Christmas Offering

12.12.21

We wanted to take a moment to say thank you! The way you have given generously during this unprecedented time is just inspiring! The way you have served the community around you is amazing.

We have some family wins to share and to celebrate!

The first win dates back to 2020 when we began serving individuals and families most impacted by COVID-19 through our food outreach. From March through December we distributed four million pounds of food with the REVÉ Truck and Dream Team volunteers during a time when food was scarce and the need was the greatest.

Our food outreach has continued with the distribution of approximately sixteen thousand meals per month to families and individuals in need. We are on track to distribute just right under two hundred thousand meals in 2021.

Another exciting family win has been the re-launch of REVÉ Church in the Brand New Performing Arts Center. In August, we opened our doors again with over 100 people in attendance, welcoming many new families, couples and individuals. The new space has been a major upgrade for adults and kids!

Another family win was being able to supply 400 turkeys and all the “fixings” to 400 service men and women at Camp Pendleton this month.

Last, but certainly not least, we had the honor of baptizing two of our youth and 2 young adults from our community in Del Mar earlier this month. It’s incredible what God is doing through Revé Church and we are so proud to be your pastors.

The Christmas Offering is coming up on Sunday, December 12 and our aim is two-fold this year.

First, we are raising $25,000.00 to strengthen and expand our kid’s program to better support our current families and to offer additional programs for middle and high school students. We had the privilege of serving over 35 children in our kid’s spaces last weekend and we know more are on the way. Help us be ready for them by giving a financial gift on December 12. As we come together to invest resources in the next generation we all win!

Secondly, in partnership with One Hope San Diego we are supplying 25 welcome baskets filled with essential items needed for Afghan Refugees who are in danger because of their work with the U.S. military. Considering these families have been rapidly re-settled and are bringing almost nothing with them, every purchase goes a long way to help their transition.

There are multiple ways to help:

  1. To help with a Food Basket, click here.
  2. To help with a Welcome Basket, click here.
  3. To help with specific item requests for winter, click here.
  4. To help with backpacks for families, click here.
  5. Click here for the Amazon essential items list created by One Hope San Diego.

What is your part to play? It’s simple! Prayerfully consider an amount that you can give and the items you can purchase. Then bring both your financial gift and essential items with you on Sunday, December 12. Thank you so much for your continued generosity and faithfulness in giving. We are excited to create the future as we come together for this Christmas Offering!

Blessings,
Todd and Shannon Phelps
